All In A Day's Work

With the redesign of our website, we realized that it's time to update our online storefront and better showcase the quality products we offer to Foundation donors and supporters. So it was with that in mind that we gathered a photographer and a couple of photogenic volunteers to capture the products in all their glory.

One of the most picturesque spots in our hometown of Stonington, Connecticut is "The Point", the southern-most spot in the Boro, with a small beach and ocean view. Joe Algiere and Chelsey Green donated their morning to pose in the jackets, fleece vests, t-shirts, polos and sweatshirts. They may look happy in these pictures, but don't let them fool you, it was COLD. Our models were really good sports, though, and I'm confident we got great pictures for the new store page which will soon be hosted here.

And don't forget that, great pictures or not, you can get Coast Guard Foundation gear on the current webstore: ShopCoastGuardFoundation.com right now — we're running a great sale through the end of the month, including free shipping. It's our way of spreading a little holiday cheer and to thank our friends for a year of generous support.

Show your Coast Guard Foundation pride by flying one of our burgees. (Available in blue and white)

The other items, like the burgees, umbrella, license plate holder, tote bag and hat, were photographed on the beach and in the sea grass, with the ocean as a backdrop.

The pictures will be available next week sometime, and we'll get them up on the site as soon as we can. In the meantime, here are a few shots from my iPhone, which aren't nearly as good as the professionally shot photos, which were expertly captured by Amanda Tedeschi.
