Holiday Cards for Coasties Serving Overseas

Let Coast Guard members serving overseas know that they're in your thoughts this holiday season.

The Coast Guard Foundation is sending cards and letters to those troops serving so far away and we need your help. Your message to Coast Guard personnel serving overseas will go a long way in helping them know that their mission is important and people back home support them.

Send your card to our offices by Friday, December 7 2012, and we'll include it in our package going to Coast Guard members who are currently serving overseas.

Address it to:

Coast Guard Foundation
c/o Holiday Cards for Coasties
394 Taugwonk Road
Stonington, CT 06378

Be creative! We will send a Coast Guard Foundation baseball cap to one randomly selected submission.

  9. Thank you for your service to your country and serving in the Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reserve. I have served overseas during the holidays and know what it is like to be away from your family. However the experience will last you a life time. Your commitment does not go unnoticed. From one Coastie to another may you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May you have a safe return. If you are ever in NH, make sure you visit the CG/CG Aux memorial at the NH Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen. It's a beautiful tribute for all those that have served before us and who continue to serve.
