CGF Welcomes New Regional Director of Philanthropy

The Coast Guard Foundation is proud to announce that Brian Overcast, of St. Petersburg, Florida, has joined our team to manage fundraising efforts and work with donors and prospects throughout the Southeastern United States. In his role, he will seek to broaden the reach of the Foundation in Florida, and throughout the region, through his engagement with individuals, corporations and foundations.

"I am very pleased to have Brian on our team," said Anne B. Brengle, president, Coast Guard Foundation. "His experience and capabilities will be invaluable as he increases our presence in Florida, and our efforts to support the men and women of the Coast Guard and their families who are based in the area. We welcome him to the Foundation."

For more than 40 years, the Coast Guard Foundation has been committed to inspiring leadership, learning and a proud legacy of service to our nation by supporting the men of women of the United States Coast Guard.

The Foundation provides higher education grants to enlisted personnel, reservists and their children, higher education financial support for families of Coast Guard members lost in the line of duty, financial relief to Coast Guard families who have lost possessions in natural disasters, and support for morale programs, including funding recreation, exercise and family-oriented facilities.
