2013 Coast Guard Foundation Cup

The Coast Guard Foundation is hosting an overnight sailboat race on April 27-28. The Coast Guard Foundation Cup, managed by the Annapolis Yacht Club (AYC), will start and finish outside of Annapolis Harbor. All sponsorship proceeds benefit the Foundation and its support of the men and women of the Coast Guard and their families.

The Coast Guard Foundation Cup has already secured sponsorships from Huntington Ingalls Industries and METCOR, Inc., and is being co-chaired by Foundation Trustees, Jim Muldoon, and Capt. Pat Stadt, USCG (Ret.), both avid sailors in the Annapolis community. "The Coast Guard Foundation Cup is a tremendous opportunity to support the men and women of the Coast Guard, and participate in a great feeder sailing race in Annapolis," said Muldoon. "It is a fantastic event for sailors to take part in a competitive race and gain experience before the 2013 Annapolis-Newport race later in the year."
