The Combined Federal Campaign is a fundraising program run by the Office of Personnel Management that allows federal, military and postal employees to join philanthropic efforts quickly and efficiently. Since 2005, the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) has raised more than $645,000 for Coast Guard Foundation Shipmate Fund projects.

The Coast Guard Foundation Shipmate Fund provides program support for morale, wellness, education and recreation initiatives for units, ships, and sectors, as identified by Coast Guard leadership. Over that time, the Coast Guard Foundation has provided millions of dollars' worth of projects for the benefit of Coast Guard men and women around the country that helps them excel on or off-duty.
The Foundation has distributed $5 million in morale support through the Shipmate Fund since its inception in 1994. Last year alone, we distributed $425,000 in Shipmate projects across the country, resulting in more than 100 total grants to various units, stations, sectors, cutters and districts.
