Hawaii Coast Guard Tribute 2025: Honolulu Event Honors Fourteenth District Heroes on May 22
The Coast Guard Foundation’s Tribute to the Coast Guard Fourteenth District brings together Coast Guard personnel, maritime industry leaders, and community supporters to honor the service’s vital contributions to maritime safety, environmental protection, and national security in the region.
This year the event will occur on National Maritime Day, which recognizes one of our country’s most important industries. Each year, ceremonies and celebrations throughout the country recognize National Maritime Day and the people our maritime nation depends on.
The annual event also recognizes the heroic service of Coast Guard members stationed across the Pacific. Units stationed in Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, and Japan play a critical role in safeguarding Pacific waters, and this event celebrates their dedication.
The evening’s program will highlight recent Coast Guard missions and achievements, showcasing acts of bravery and commitment. Coast Guard Pacific Area Commander Vice Admiral Andy Tiongson and local Coast Guard officials will attend and speak at the event, underscoring the Coast Guard’s essential role in Pacific security and disaster response.
