Why Monthly Giving Matters: How to Show Your Support 365 Days a Year
Supporting the Coast Guard Foundation through monthly giving is an impactful way to support Coast Guard members and their families all year long. The regular commitment provides a reliable source of support and allows the Coast Guard Foundation to respond quickly to emergencies and plan for future needs.
For you--the donor-- setting up a monthly gift is easy and allows you to make a meaningful impact without a major one-time financial obligation.
Here’s how it works:
- On the donation form, select the option for monthly giving and click on the donation amount.
- Complete the form with your name, address and payment information.
- Click the red button to complete the transaction.
You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your gift. Each month after that, your gift will be charged automatically. At the end of the calendar year, we will send you a statement that details your full year of giving. If you change your mind, you can easily withdraw from the program by calling our headquarters at 860-535-0786 or sending an email to info@coastguardfoundation.org.
We call our monthly donors Lighthouse Keepers because like those steadfast individuals who once operated the beacons guiding mariners to safety in turbulent weather, monthly supporters are dependable friends who Coast Guard members can count on at the most difficult times in their lives.
As a Lighthouse Keeper, you’ll be part of a dedicated group committed to standing with the Coast Guard Foundation throughout the year.
